Discover the Bois Malaisé Canyon in Guadeloupe with its impressive abseiling descents in the heart of the tropical forest!
The Canyon de Bois Malaisé is located in the south of Basse-Terre, close to the Cousteau Reserve and at the gateway to the Guadeloupe National Park: the setting is set, and the canyoning trip promises to be idyllic! And exciting: jumps and slides await you, as well as 5 abseils, including two over 30 metres.
The course is aquatic and offers great sensations. A great choice if you've done canyoning before and are in excellent physical condition.
Preparation:
We'll be waiting for you in the commune of Bouillante, and the precise geolocation of the meeting point will of course be sent to you. After a short car journey, we reach the starting point. Then it's time to pack your bags with all the specific equipment required for the Bois Malaisé canyon, which we provide. And even if you're in Guadeloupe, you'll need a long neoprene wetsuit.
Activity :
Then we begin the 60-minute approach walk to our starting point in the river. Now it's time to don our wetsuits. We're directly at the top of a 20 m waterfall, on a magnificent volcanic slab. Then it's off down the river for 5 hours 30 minutes, with a succession of abseils and jumps!
Arrival :
That's it, just 30 minutes of easy walking back to the car, and then we'll let you go, your head still full of memories!
Conditions
Due to bad weather, you may be offered another date or a refund (rare, but it happens!).
