Bois Malaisé Canyon in Guadeloupe

First recall Bois Malaisé

Are you a sportsman with a good knowledge of canyoning? Dare to experience adventure in a tropical environment at the Bois Malaisé canyon in Guadeloupe.

The approach walk

Early in the morning, we set off for an hour-and-a-half hike through the forest, with about 300 vertical metres of ascent.
In the middle of the island of Guadeloupe, the rainforest is exuberant with tall trees, and at the end of the walk we make a fairly steep descent and arrive at a branch of the Bois Malaisé river.

In the Bois Malaisé river

The first abseil sets the tone for the river: 27 m on a slightly waterlogged wall.
The second abseil follows directly on at the same height, but this time you're on the banks of the Bois Malaisé river.

The river descent continues with more aquatic sections, including a ponytail abseil, not forgetting an hour-long boulder walk before the final abseil.
